Offered in partnership with GrowSmart Rhode Island

How do you show up for yourself, your loved ones, and your communities? We all want to bring our whole selves, but too often we’re disconnected from our inner creativity and imagination. And sometimes it just gets exhausting.

This workshop series will help you rediscover your inner artist and well of creativity! Led by expressive arts facilitators, you’ll develop a toolbox of practices to support self-connection and community-connection. The expressive arts includes a variety of arts forms, including visual art, sound, movement, and writing.

This workshop series is geared towards community builders, those people who often take on leadership, organizing, or supportive roles in their neighborhoods or networks. You support your people, and we want to support you!

Workshops will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. over three Wednesdays: January 27, February 10, and February 24. A light dinner is included. The location is Shiloh Gospel Temple Ministries, 974 Charles St., North Providence.

This is made possible by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA).
